Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality care and support to our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and create care plans and health screenings.
- Assist medical practitioners during consultations and procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide patient education on various health conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
We require:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in general practice and with Best Practice software is an advantage but not essential.
- A strong understanding of Medicare and Medicare billing is an advantage.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Possession of an immunisation certificate, qualifications in women's health and or other relevant qualifications are also considered advantageous.
