Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality care and support to our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and create care plans and health screenings.
  • Assist medical practitioners during consultations and procedures.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide patient education on various health conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in general practice and with Best Practice software is an advantage but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of Medicare and Medicare billing is an advantage.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Possession of an immunisation certificate, qualifications in women's health and or other relevant qualifications are also considered advantageous.
