Design and Build Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their team in Sydney. As a leading mechanical services provider, they specialize in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and are currently expanding their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians on multiple sites, ensuring effective project delivery and quality control.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule, allocate resources, and monitor work progress.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project performance, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and relevant certifications/documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, adhering to industry best practices and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial HVAC projects, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Air conditioning and Refrigeration License, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
- Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Sound knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration installation principles, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
