About the Role

Your role as a Customer Solutions Architect is to help current customers gain the most value from their dbt Cloud deployment, in partnership with the Sales Director and Solutions Architect on the customer success team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in data engineering, analytics, and cloud computing. They will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their business needs and providing expert guidance on how to get the most out of dbt Cloud.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide expert guidance on how to get the most out of dbt Cloud.
  • Develop and implement data solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up with customers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
  • Strong technical skills in cloud computing, data modeling, and database management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
