Job Overview

Working in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a commercial mindset to drive strategic decisions. Ensuring customer, shareholder and employee expectations are met is crucial.

The Manager Commercial Global Airports will oversee the supplier portfolio using a supplier management framework across a diverse global network. This involves seamless contractor and supplier management aligned with group strategy and safety management systems.

Main responsibilities include contract management, supplier governance, performance monitoring, and end-to-end contract administration. The role also involves leading programmatic work, representing the commercial portfolio, and considering multiple AOCs.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience, including at least 1 year in a commercial management or equivalent role
  • Prior experience in airport operations or within a ground handling business would be highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, particularly in managing external stakeholders
  • Commercially driven mindset with a proactive approach to achieving optimal business outcomes
  • Excellent time management and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience working across international markets, with cultural awareness and sensitivity to global business practices
