We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer in Church History and Public Theology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in historical studies and a proven track record of teaching and research in this field.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach church history courses to students at the Presbyterian Theological College
- Develop and teach courses in intellectual history and contemporary cultural engagement
- Contribute to the academic culture of the college through research and student development
- Provide theological and spiritual leadership as a teacher of the Church
- Either be a minister in full standing with the Presbyterian Church of Australia or be willing to satisfy the requirements of the rules of the General Assembly of Australia relative to the reception of ministers from other churches
- Embrace and actively promote the Reformed faith as embodied in the confessional standards of the Presbyterian Church of Australia
- Previous experience in academic teaching, administration, and curriculum design is desirable
