Job Title

A high-level cloud security architect position has arisen to oversee the development of robust AWS security architectures and drive best practices into concrete design patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure, guided by industry-leading frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
  • Designing multi-account AWS landing zones leveraging AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK) to embed critical guardrails for identity, logging, and network segmentation.
  • Facilitating architecture workshops and threat-modeling sessions to proactively identify, prioritize, and architect effective mitigations for top cloud security risks.
  • Crafting long-term security roadmaps and reusable reference architectures that align with industry standards.
  • Evaluating and architecting sophisticated solutions leveraging core AWS security services including AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon GuardDuty, and AWS Security Hub.
  • Mentoring engineering teams on secure-by-design principles and embedding security automation and guardrails directly into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing complex security solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Deep knowledge across the AWS security ecosystem.
  • Proven expertise in secure cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and security operations.
  • Strong understanding of leading security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrable experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • A track record of leading threat modeling and risk assessment activities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in cloud cybersecurity.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) is required.
