About Laser Cutting Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with high precision cutting and fabrication solutions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a CNC laser cutting machine
  • Maintaining component quality
  • Materials handling
  • Operating a forklift
  • Cleaning of work area and tools
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor

A background in engineering, fabrication or laser/plasma cutting is beneficial. Previous experience as a laser/plasma operator is desirable but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Australian forklift licence
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Availability to work in shift environments
  • Reliability, honesty and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
