Job Overview

The Portering role is pivotal in providing a seamless guest experience at our hotel.

As a key member of the Front Desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service by ensuring guests are warmly welcomed and assisted with their luggage upon arrival and departure.

You will also play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness throughout the Hotel entrance area, including the lobby and porte cochere.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, enthusiastic and able to multitask effectively.

A valid Australian working visa and C Class Driver's Licence (Manual) are required for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and assist with luggage
  • Ensure the Hotel entrance area remains clean and tidy
  • Provide tourists with information on local dining and entertainment options
  • Promote the Accor Loyalty Program
  • Work flexible 7-day roster including AM and PM shifts

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lift heavy luggage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills with ability to multitask
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
