Home Care Assistant

This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and household chores. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate and patient demeanor, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
The successful applicant will be required to monitor client's health status and report any changes or concerns to their supervisor. They will also need to follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with Daily Living Activities:
- Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and household chores
- Ensuring clients are comfortable and safe in their homes
- Companionship and Emotional Support:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
- Health Monitoring:
- Monitoring client's health status and reporting any changes or concerns to supervisor
- Care Plan Implementation:
- FOLLOWING CARE PLANS PROVIDED BY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
- Confidentiality:
- Maintaining confidentiality of client information
- Certificate III in Individual Support:
- PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
