Job Title: Complex Legal Unit Specialist

This role is perfect for someone who wants to work on intricate issues relating to the functions and powers of regulatory bodies under governing legislation, including complex legal advice.

About the Role:
  • Provide strategic and policy-based legal advice on complex matters relating to regulatory frameworks under governing legislation.
  • Conduct research into relevant legislative requirements and related law affecting regulatory responsibilities.
  • Assist with investigations and proceedings for regulatory agencies, working closely with external counsel.
About You:
  • Admission as a qualified practitioner in the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Experience advising clients under tight deadlines.
  • Advantageous experience in providing advice on Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or administrative law, particularly in respect of mergers and exemptions.
