Ref: 198140 Specialist Psychiatry/ACUTE PSYCHIATRY UNIT (INPATIENTS) Southern WA Located 175 km south of Perth, this port town has approximately 46,215 residents This hospital has a 24hr specialist led emergency department, a high dependency unit, an intensive care unit, medical and surgical wards, paediatric ward, maternity ward, subacute rehabilittion ward, an acute psychiatric unit, a theatre complex, outpatient areas and has a 190 bed capacity Travel & accommodation provided.
Details A Southern WA hospital requires a Specialist in Psychiatry from 16/09/2025 to 14/11/2025.Monday – Friday0830 - 1630On call component applicable – presented doctors will be required to be on call as rostered.
-single weeknight (Monday through Thursday – included in daily rate) OR -a weekend (Friday/Sat/Sun – close availability payment applicable for weekends).
-All on-call is supported by a first-on-call Registrar.
-Weeknights generally comprise telephone support only.
-Weekend days often require a 1-3 hour attendance at the hospital site, to review new inpatient admissions.
