Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team at a large manufacturing facility in the Shepparton area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance activities within the plant, ensuring optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring value and benefit for expenditure.
  • Provide mentorship and safety leadership to the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation at the site.
  • Supervise maintenance purchasing activities, focusing on reducing the cost of spare parts.
  • Lead project management initiatives, driving technical training efforts and enhancing production efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification with at least 5 years of experience in food manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMMS, inventory management, and proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and planning abilities.
  • Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, preferably in a dairy or food manufacturing setting.
