About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garden and Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance and Gardening team in Mooroopna. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient maintenance of our gardens and grounds, ensuring that they are well-maintained and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Yooralla Service Providers and external contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide leadership, on-the-job training, and support to team members, while maintaining a focus on managing a commercial social enterprise.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and gardening plans, ensuring that our gardens and grounds are well-maintained and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Yooralla policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our gardens and grounds are integrated into our overall service delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in horticulture and relevant experience in garden and grounds maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power tools and non-electrical manual tools, with the ability to select and use suitable tools and methods.
  • Proven experience in the management and planning of building and grounds maintenance, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Current National Police Record Check, International Police Check (if required), Working with Children Check (if required), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and current driver's licence to drive in Australia.
  • First Aid (HLTAID003) Certificate.
