We are looking for experienced Security Officers for a highly regulated oil refinery in Corio. This fast-paced, high-surveillance environment offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional security services in a pivotal setting.
About the Role
In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at the site. Your responsibilities will include emergency management, access control, and conducting foot and vehicle patrols. This is a casual position with a rotating 7-day schedule, including a 24/7 shift rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a strong security presence and monitor activities related to asset protection;
- Respond to and report emergencies;
- Monitor CCTV and radio communication systems;
- Deliver exceptional customer service;
- Manage access control;
- Enforce rules and regulations, including directing individuals as needed;
- Complete incident reports and document occurrences;
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
Requirements
- Full Australian Working Rights;
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher);
- Valid Victorian Security License with control room endorsement;
- Valid VIC Driver's License;
- Valid First Aid and CPR;
- Proven experience in security roles within high-surveillance environments (industrial security experience is highly regarded);
- Flexibility to work on a rotating 7-day roster;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Willingness to complete a shadow shift onsite;
- Willingness to complete a medical clearance.
