Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams of electrical engineers and designing distribution and transmission systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of substation layout designs, clearance studies, and earthing systems. They will also manage multiple projects, ensuring quality deliverables, timely execution, and budget adherence.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in HV Primary Electrical Engineering, with a focus on substation design.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a technical team.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD.
  • Excellent project management and client relationship skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian standards and industry best practices (National Electricity Rules, AEMO Guidelines and Safety in Design).
  • Current CPEng and NER registrations.
