Advanced Trading Strategies Specialist

As an experienced Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performing trading strategies across power markets.

The role involves collaborating with leading quantitative researchers and engineers to optimize existing strategies and identify new opportunities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement mid-frequency algorithmic trading strategies for power markets.
  • Collaborate with the PM on alpha generation, model implementation, backtesting, and portfolio construction.
  • Work alongside a team of quantitative researchers to improve existing strategies and identify new trading opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in generating alpha and developing high-performing strategies within power markets.
  • Strong background in quantitative trading with expertise in mid-frequency commodity strategies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python.
  • Expertise in machine learning techniques and tools applied in strategy development and optimization.
