Support Worker Job

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in their homes, enabling them to live independently and safely.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in people's lives. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as dementia care, wound management, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing personal care and domestic assistance to clients in their own homes
  2. Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  3. Preparing meals and snacks for clients
  4. Accompanying clients on outings and activities
  5. Monitoring and reporting client health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
