Job Description:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and shaping the future direction of cloud environments. This position is responsible for ensuring the health, security, and optimization of cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure.

The successful candidate will lead the direction of the cloud environment by working with architects to design solutions for future requirements. You will take responsibility for vulnerability posture and remediation within the Azure environment, administer and enhance security tools, including Defender for Cloud and Conditional Access Policies.

In addition, you will build and manage infrastructure-as-code using BICEP templates to deploy new environments and resources, lead the migration of applications and resources from legacy environments to new subscriptions, and optimize cloud expenditure by monitoring costs and providing recommendations.

This role requires extensive experience in senior-level positions, with a strong focus on Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with network routing concepts, demonstrated expertise in setting up policies to enforce consistency and automate tasks, and experience in using Bicep templates to deploy infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance.
