We are seeking experienced professionals to safeguard the structural integrity and safety of properties through pre-purchase inspections.
About the Role
This full-time position involves conducting thorough building and pest inspections, identifying defects and risks, and producing detailed reports with clear recommendations.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in conducting building and/or pest inspections, possess relevant certifications, and meet specific qualification requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive building and pest inspections
- Identify defects, safety risks, and compliance issues
- Produce detailed inspection reports with clear recommendations
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent report writing capabilities, and physical capability to inspect subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Inspections: Conduct thorough visual inspections of buildings to identify potential defects and safety risks.
- Pest Inspections: Identify signs of pest activity and assess the risk of pest damage to properties.
- Reporting: Produce detailed inspection reports with clear recommendations for remedial action.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certifications: Possess relevant certifications in building and pest inspections, including Timber Pest Management.
- Qualifications: Hold a QLD Builder's Licence or Registered Building Inspector's Course.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent report writing capabilities, and physical capability to inspect subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas.
