About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on beautiful Hayman Island. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for maintaining all building structures, finishes, and carpentry-related services in the resort and staff village.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining all building structures, finishes, and carpentry-related services in the resort and staff village
  • Assisting with general maintenance repairs, including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, and general maintenance tasks
  • Completing tasks efficiently and effectively while ensuring high-quality results
  • Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve common goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in Carpentry or extensive industry experience with a high attention to detail
  • The ability to complete general maintenance repairs, including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, and general maintenance tasks
  • A Queensland safety induction White Card and current valid driver's license
  • Fitness to perform physical tasks that require standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
