Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team at HESTA Super Fund. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and accuracy in our financial reporting processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certification such as CPA or CA. You will also require minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or a related role, preferably within the Superannuation sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply regulatory and accounting standards in the preparation of Fund and Trustee financial statements and regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in accounting standards relevant to Superannuation Funds.
  • Advise on the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting procedures and controls.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial reporting.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of HESTA Super Fund. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
