Role Overview

As a Relief Coordinator/Catering Assistant, you will be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating meal plating and meal delivery service, monitoring workflow, and adjusting staffing or tasks to maintain service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating meal plating and meal delivery service
  • Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or tasks to maintain service standards
  • Assist with induction and orientation of new or casual staff
  • Ensure staff follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants, setting up and plating, undertaking cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level, while keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards, dishwashing, demonstrating a great work ethic and attention to detail, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work loads, be reliable, motivated and have a friendly nature, and allergy control awareness.

Requirements:

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
  • Australians and permanent residents only
