About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join our Corporate Legal team at CPB Contractors. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal services on iconic construction projects across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercially relevant advice to our bid teams on the formation, review, and closing of contracts for large-scale projects.
  • Draft and develop tender qualifications that address project risks.
  • Support the resolution of contractual issues that arise on projects during delivery.
  • Negotiate contract amendments with clients, joint venture partners, and external lawyers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years PQE with a strong focus on front-end construction contracts work.
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Qualified to practice as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction - holding a current practicing certificate.
  • In-depth understanding of the legal aspects of construction projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
