Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

At BESIX Watpac, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures, as well as advising the business on contract interpretation and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with BESIX Watpac's policies and procedures
Advise the business on contract interpretation and administration
Identify and advise on key contractual and legal risks
Advise the business on relevant legislative requirements
Prepare legal and commercial benchmark reviews of tender head contracts

Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in law
Holding a practicing certificate in NSW
Solid experience in construction law
Research and analytical skills related to legal matters
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise balanced and commercial judgement
