Expert Competition Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Sydney office in the Competition, Regulation & Trade team.
Job DescriptionWe provide expert advice on competition and consumer law matters, drawing on our sector knowledge and deep understanding of commercial objectives and stakeholder needs. Our team has extensive experience in advising on access and economic regulation matters for regulated assets and access seekers.

Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience as a Senior Associate in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia.
- In-depth experience in competition and/or consumer and regulatory law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work.
- An excellent academic record, and natural commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong communication skills and an enjoyment for developing junior Lawyers.
- An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
- A curiosity about our clients' businesses, and an ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the ongoing growth of the practice.
