Lead Oncology Ward Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in our Oncology Ward at John Fawkner Private Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience while we care for them.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the Oncology ward to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, and quality management of all patients.
- Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based, ensuring efficient and effective management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- A current Registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children check.
- Previous experience at NUM level or equivalent (minimum 3 years).
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards.
- A strong commitment to developing in a management role.
- Computer literacy including MS Office and various databases.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management.
- Demonstrated HR management experience.
