Clinical Nurse

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing support and mentorship to the team, and contributing to a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A strong working relationship with customers, with excellent organisation, prioritisation, communication and clinical skills.
  • Effective rostering and staffing management to meet departmental needs.
  • Delivering education and engaging with staff to promote a common understanding of policies and protocols.
  • Accountable for own standards of practice and providing ongoing education and support to staff.
  • Responsible for delivering patient care from admission to surgery and discharge.
  • Maintaining an agreed portfolio and championing a high clinical standard for the unit.

About You:

  • You hold a current practicing certificate as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • You possess a positive attitude, a 'can do' approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You have a sound understanding of NSQHS clinical standards, pre and post op assessments, local policies and procedures.
  • You are committed to best practice and promoting a positive culture while prioritising best patient outcomes.
  • You have a desire to assist in leading a team committed to caring for others in a mission-based organisation.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Holds a current practicing certificate.
