As a seasoned engineering leader, you have the opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in the delivery of critical rail infrastructure projects. Your technical expertise will be pivotal in guiding our team of engineers in the development of end-to-end engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and integrity.

The role will involve providing expert guidance on structural design reviews, project alignment, and asset management strategies. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and supporting field maintenance teams through site inspections and collaborative work with asset owners, designers, and contractors.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of structural design principles, and experience working in complex environments. A proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes while influencing stakeholders is also essential.

  • Lead a team of engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Support field maintenance teams through site inspections
  • Provide subject matter expertise in structures design reviews and project alignment
  • Collaborate with asset owners, designers, and third-party contractors

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of whole-of-life asset management principles and experience working in rail infrastructure or similarly regulated environments. Practical experience in construction or on-site delivery is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in delivering high-quality engineering solutions

Structural Design Reviews: Provide expert guidance on structural design reviews and project alignment

Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of structural assets

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with asset owners, designers, and third-party contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading complex engineering projects

Desirable Skills:
