Intensive Education Support Professional

The Education Specialist will work collaboratively to develop and implement educational initiatives supporting students at risk of disengagement.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver intensive case management, transition supports, and educational programs for students at risk of disengagement.
- Provide comprehensive case management that incorporates educational and behaviour intervention strategies.
- Foster partnerships with stakeholders, including families, education providers, community organisations, and government agencies to ensure effective support for students.
- Coordinate individual student plans and transition plans using an integrated approach that considers each student's strengths and presenting concerns.
- Understanding the impact of disability on individual functioning within an education context and evidence-based practices to support reasonable adjustments.
- Experience working with First Nations communities, families, and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work with students who require varying levels of support.
