About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer Integration and Test to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in supporting the integration and test of state-of-the-art technology at the core of our Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) system.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • On-site management and execution of Integration and Test (I&T) activities, encompassing the coordination and implementation of systems engineering.
  • Coordination and implementation of systems engineering, spanning a variety of areas including systems, subsystems, products, and external interfaces.
  • Requirements, design, and verification of systems engineering principles and lifecycles.
  • Closely working with the lead SEIT team, who are operating remotely from the work location.
  • Collaboration with a diverse team that includes experts from the US and Australia.
  • Identification and resolution of risks and issues in a setting with limited support.
  • Maintenance of high levels of technical assurance and quality.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) and essential qualifications or training in Systems Engineering. Your ability to be registered as a Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia adds to your profile. Practical experience working with satellite ground stations or RADAR systems will be an advantage. Your ability to collaboratively solve technical problems demonstrated by relevant practical "hands on" experience will be highly regarded. Your experience with requirements management, traceability and compliance, and associated tools, such as DOORs, and a solid background in Systems Engineering set you apart.
