Audio Visual Cyber and Service Assurance Manager

The Australian Public Service (APS) is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG), Cyber Operations Division (COD). As a Cyber and Service Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for providing proactive management in an ICT or Customer Service environment within a complex organisation.
You will undertake complex to very complex commercial engagements and develop contractual agreements within an integrated workforce. The Cyber and Service Assurance Team operates in a fast-paced, high-exposure environment where demands on attention to detail and agility are of exceptional quality.
Applicants will need to demonstrate exemplary communication skills with a high level of resilience and attention to detail. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing allocated resources, setting work area priorities, managing workflows, developing strategies, and evaluating business outcomes.
This will include assisting the Deputy Director of AV Cyber and Service Assurance in development, implementation, compliance with, and review of policies and procedures. The position has a high reliance on the ability to communicate in a professional, precise, and competent manner while problem-solving and delivering operational outcomes to high-profile stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage allocated resources and set work area priorities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business outcomes
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures
- Communicate with stakeholders at a high level and identify relevant stakeholder expectations
- Deliver operational outcomes to high-profile stakeholders
About Our Team
The Directorate of Audio Visual Operations (DAVO) acts as the Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) representative for the delivery of audio visual and video teleconferencing services across the Defence footprint.
Our team comprises a mix of Australian Public Service (APS) and Contracted personnel located between several major Defence bases Australia-wide. Our culture is one that is driven by collaboration and communication within a diverse workforce setting.
