**Job Overview:**

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Loss Prevention team as a Uniformed Officer. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about preventing theft and ensuring the security of our stores.

As a Uniformed Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the achievement of store financial objectives through proactive loss prevention initiatives. You will work closely with our retail teams to educate them on loss prevention strategies and ensure that they understand their roles in maintaining a secure environment.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular security checks, investigating potential losses, and liaising with local authorities to prevent and investigate criminal activity. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORT THE ACHIEVEMENT OF STORE FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES THROUGH PROACTIVE LOSS PREVENTION INITIATIVES
  • EDUCATE RETAIL TEAM MEMBERS ON LOSS PREVENTION STRATEGIES AND BEST PRACTICES
  • CONDUCT REGULAR SECURITY CHECKS TO ENSURE STORE SECURITY IS MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES
  • INVESTIGATE POTENTIAL LOSSES AND WORK CLOSELY WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO PREVENT AND INVESTIGATE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

Requirements:

  • HOLD A CURRENT SECURITY LICENSE AND FIRST-AID CERTIFICATE
  • EXPERIENCE RELATIVE TO LOSS PREVENTION, SECURITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVANTAGEOUS
  • CERTIFICATE II IN SECURITY OPERATIONS
  • NUMERACY SKILLS WITH UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIALS
