Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview:

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional in the field of cost management consulting, seeking to utilize their expertise to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement detailed cost analyses, estimates, and feasibility studies to ensure clients receive accurate and reliable financial information.
  2. Maintain technical proficiency in all aspects of pre and post contract QS services, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  3. Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, managing expectations, and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, providing training, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  5. Oversee a portfolio of projects across various sectors, applying knowledge and skills to drive successful outcomes.
  6. Identify and capitalize on career development and progression opportunities for high-performing employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, with a strong understanding of local construction regulations and industry standards.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Membership in an approved Professional Body (e.g., AIQS, RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable, demonstrating commitment to professional development and industry excellence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning, and organization, with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
