We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for project management and coordination.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by assisting project managers and renewal leads in developing and updating project artefacts, reports, and schedules. You will be responsible for completing activities, scheduling meetings and workshops, developing and maintaining project documentation, following up on general queries and escalations, and submitting resource requests.

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract with Yarra Trams, where you will contribute to delivering world-class transport services to our passengers. Our mission is to provide safe and reliable transportation solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete financial updates and prepare reports
  • Schedule meetings and workshops, providing agendas and recording decisions and actions
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and artefacts
  • Follow up on general queries and escalations, and outstanding items
  • Maintain and update project schedules
  • Submit resource requests for project work
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or significant relevant experience
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining project documentation and schedules
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to organize internal and external communications
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work across multiple projects
