About the Role

  • The Cyber Security Lead will be responsible for analysing security gaps and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions that safeguard the university's systems.
  • They will conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • This individual will lead incident response efforts and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
  • A key responsibility will be to educate staff on cyber security best practices and stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging threats.
  • They will also ensure that solution designs align with the institution's cyber security strategy while meeting both business and technical requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security leadership.
  • A strong understanding of current cyber threats and established cyber security best practices.

Desirable Skills
