Expert Practitioner in Child and Family Health Nursing

The role of a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 is an expert practitioner who facilitates evidence-based practice within Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN). The position promotes a service that fosters clinical excellence, research, and professional leadership in CFHN.
The successful applicant will work with an experienced team of clinicians, both Nursing and Allied Health, to ensure the fidelity of the program across two sites. They will also be responsible for recruiting and engaging clients for the two-year program.
The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, have excellent communication skills, and be able to provide safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support and advice to NUMs and staff at community health centers.
- Work collaboratively with a team of clinicians to ensure the program's integrity across multiple sites.
- Recruit and engage clients for the two-year program.
- Ensure clients receive effective management in Child and Family Health Nursing.
- Develop and implement clinical practice standards and evaluate their outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and consumer groups to promote quality health care.
