Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide 24/7 care, support, and supervision to up to 4 children or young people in a residential setting.

About the Role:

  • Ensure the personal and developmental needs of the children or young people are met in a home environment.
  • Provide tailored and developmentally appropriate support and activities, together with necessary personal care and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an engaging, culturally appropriate, nurturing, and safe environment for the children or young people.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Manage household tasks, including meal planning, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and washing.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to additional support staff.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working with children and young people with complex behaviours and trauma backgrounds.
  • Cultural competency and understanding of supporting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children and young people.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, dedication, and calm under pressure.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Unrestricted Drivers Licence.
