Overview:

The Labour Support Group is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with experience in analysing and documenting business and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures, and work practices
  • Evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices and system functionality
  • Working with users to formulate and document business requirements
  • Developing project plans and managing projects using project management methodologies
  • Performing operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, and enforcing security and integrity controls
  • Implementing and administering database documentation, guidelines, policies, and procedures for users
  • Troubleshooting and providing service support for server-related hardware and software malfunctions
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies, and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
  • Deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system changes
  • Implementing system test plans to ensure quality and integrity of the system
  • Creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
  • Developing functional specifications for use by system developers
  • Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the facilities management sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyse data, trends, and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of ICT infrastructure, software development life cycle, and emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with databases, network systems, and software applications
