Transportation Operations Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Transportation Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient transportation operations and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily maintenance schedules to maximize safety and availability of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet & Equipment Manager to analyze fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and inspections.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and partners to optimize fleet resources and services.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as logistics, engineering or business.
  • Proven experience in fleet management and maintenance scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
