About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  2. Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  3. Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  4. Lead the team in the Head Chef's absence, taking charge of service and kitchen operations.
  5. Collaborate on menu development, introducing new ideas and seasonal dishes.
About You:
  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or senior cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, traditional techniques, and modern plating.
  3. Passionate about food, with a keen eye for detail and quality control.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and handle busy services with efficiency.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and support the team.
  6. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential).
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
