Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with internal and external stakeholders to influence process design and ultimately the delivery of operational tools.

  • Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to influence process design.
  • Report writing and support to written regulatory submissions and market consultation.
  • Ensuring internal operational processes are aligned and executed in accordance with market rules and daily/weekly/monthly production cycles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on commercial and regulatory matters.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of industry reform projects through interpretation of market rules and subsequent design and development of systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mandatory minimum degree qualification in relevant discipline (economics, commerce, finance or information systems).
  • Strong related work experience in the Energy industry with consideration given to relevant (Commercial/Regulatory/Legal) experience in related industries such as utilities.
  • Strong written interpretation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to draw and articulate conclusions from a range of data and rule inputs.
