Care Leader Opportunity

Providing exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do, and we're seeking experienced Registered Nurses to lead our care team in Armidale.

This is a key leadership position where you'll advise and assist care staff to provide high-quality care tailored to suit the needs and preferences of our residents. As a leader, you will oversee the delivery of care services and ensure that they meet the required standards.

  • Lead the provision of high-quality care to residents.
  • Supervise and mentor other care employees.
  • Build and foster partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity.

You will be working within a supportive team to coordinate and deliver care, including providing complex clinical care, wound dressing, and administering medications. We also require entries on the computer program iCare and evaluation of care plans to meet changing resident needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse DIV 1 with AHPRA.
  • 2+ years' previous experience in aged care, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of iCare.
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities and manual handling principles.
  • Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and ANACC knowledge is highly regarded.
