Job Title: Home Assessor

At Fuse Recruitment, we're seeking a skilled Home Assessor to join our team. As a Home Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing and reporting on damages, discussing and agreeing upon the best repair methods with our panel of home repairers and internal claims team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend clients' properties to accurately report on building damage to domestic insured properties, in line with policy coverage.
  • Provide accurate Scopes of Works for rectification works to be carried out on insurable events.
  • Claims support: Review expert reports, provide technical advice, and recommendations on policy coverage to our claims team.
  • Submit reports, review SOW's, and documentation in a timely manner (as per set SLA's).
  • Determine and advise on the overall best method of repair of the building.
  • Conduct virtual/desk assessments and triage.
  • Comply with statutory and industry/company requirements.
  • Interstate travel may be required for CAT events.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing quality building work and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Background in producing accurate scopes of works.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Reputable conflict resolution handling and experience in managing, coaching, and appraising builders.
  • Proven experience in building effective business relationships with builders.
  • Insurance experience preferred but not essential.
