About The Role

This newly created position will lead the HR function across Adelaide and Perth sites, providing essential support to our leaders and teammates in enhancing the employee experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient Human Resource practices for both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Influencing and guiding leaders with critical workforce planning and development and change management.
  2. Contributing to the development of HR plans.
  3. Providing timely and accurate Human Resource support to people managers.
  4. Identifying and delivering on agreed process improvements.
  5. Leading onboarding programs to ensure our new employee experience is best in class.
  6. Reinforcing MCC's culture by leading a consistent application of policies and practices.
  7. Overseeing initiatives to drive employee engagement.
  8. Facilitating communication channels across the two sites.
  9. As required, supporting recruitment programs and initiatives.

About You

  • A strong generalist HR background with an advanced knowledge of HR practices, principles, and employment law.
  • A commercially astute HR practitioner with the ability to develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of organisational development, employee engagement and cultural transformation.
  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in HR is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
  • HRIS systems experience and knowledge (Ceridian Dayforce experience advantageous).
