The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement administration, with a proven track record of managing complex procurement activities and ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse defence projects, collaborating with regional and international teams to champion procurement excellence. As a Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for managing SharePoint filing, supplier engagement, and procurement activities, from enquiry to award stages.

You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in commercial transactions, contribute to business process improvement, and work closely with the Procurement Manager to analyse spend and prepare annual procurement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier engagement, and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote procurement best practices and ensure process compliance.
  • Analyse spend data and assist in preparing annual procurement plans.
  • Support the Procurement Manager in reviewing terms and conditions, coordinating legal reviews, and advising on procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Procurement qualification (either gained or working towards)
  • 2+ years' experience in contract administration or procurement administration
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and protect confidentiality while maintaining an approachable attitude
  • Eligibility to hold and maintain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance
What We Offer

KBR Inc. offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and career development opportunities within the organisation.
