Clinpath Pathology is seeking a skilled Scientist to join our dynamic team in a Chemistry or Haematology Automated Laboratory role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the processing of laboratory specimens, ensuring timely and accurate results, and prioritizing urgent and time-critical specimens.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specimen reception and registration
- Sample preparation and analysis
- General laboratory housekeeping
- Stock rotation
- Equipment maintenance
- Verification of results, if applicable
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience working in a diagnostic pathology laboratory
- Practical and appropriate experience working in a diagnostic laboratory environment
- Sound knowledge and experience in the use of laboratory equipment, automated analysers, and quality control material
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in working in a quality-controlled environment and an understanding of NATA accreditation requirements
- Ability to adapt to change and to work with a dynamic team
- Current South Australian driver's license
