This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older Australians.
About the Role- As a telehealth physician, you will be responsible for conducting after-hours telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities, providing acute medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents.
- You will update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed.
- Your role will also involve managing and following up on acute issues raised by facility staff, communicating with family members, and providing referrals to specialists where required.
- Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
You will work remotely with full administrative support provided.
About You- A current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration is essential.
- Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings is highly regarded.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are crucial.
- Confidence using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records is necessary.
- Enjoy flexible after-hours shifts that suit your lifestyle.
