Job Description

The role involves ensuring that testing is embedded into the different processes across the technology management and governance framework. This entails working with various stakeholders to define, plan, manage, and report on coordinated testing activities across IT and the enterprise.

This includes providing consulting and advice on testing strategy, environment, frameworks, and management. Additionally, it involves collaborating with IT developers and project teams to embed testing requirements within the software development life cycle and build acceptance criteria.

The successful candidate will identify metrics for testing, defects, and service level agreements to be embedded into the project, development, operations, and service processes. They will also assist in the development and use of appropriate performance metrics concerning test activities and outcomes.

In this role, you will review requirements and specifications, define test conditions, design test cases and test scripts, and record and report outcomes. You will analyze and report test activities and results, identifying and reporting issues and risks associated with your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should have exposure to Jira, Confluence, and experience working with test automation tools (selenium) and frameworks (.Net C# / Java, JavaScript, python).

A strong background in software testing, quality management, or a related field is essential. Software Testing training and certification, as well as Quality Management training and certification, are highly desirable.
