Senior Track Project Engineer Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role in track project engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives.

  • This includes defining and fulfilling obligations for construction in line with procedures, requirements, codes, and industry best practice.
  • The candidate must also be responsible for reviewing and arranging the approval of designs as construction progresses.
  • Additionally, they will be accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
  • They will also be responsible for creating, updating, and adhering to project programmes.
  • Liaising with project planners to ensure adequate track possession by methods of long-term application or As Trains Permit bid sheets is also crucial.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or structures) is required.
  • Chartered engineering status, working towards, or with intention to apply is highly desirable.
  • A current Class 1 driving license is also necessary.
  • 8-15 years' post graduate experience with 8+ years site based experience is required.
  • Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to programme and budget specifications in a leadership role is essential.
