Opportunity for a seasoned leader to drive performance and growth in a retail region.

About the Role

This challenging and fast-paced position requires dedication, determination, and strong leadership skills to achieve success. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a region of concept and concession stores.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a Multi Site or Area Management role for a fashion apparel retailer, with a proven track record of driving sales, managing teams, and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountability for regional financials, sales, wages, and shrinkage targets
  • Communicating budgets, motivating, and encouraging staff
  • Enhancing stock consolidations and suggesting promotional opportunities based on an understanding of the customer base
  • Managing administration, stock, including reserve stock management, implementing loss prevention controls, and general state-wide administration
  • Ensuring staff comply with policies and procedures and performance counselling
  • Promoting and maintaining harmonious working relationships in the store
About You

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to a rapidly growing company
  • An eye for styling and detail to uphold high visual merchandising standards
  • High personal standards in providing superior customer service
  • Ability to prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets
  • Ability to analyse and organise stock to maximise sales on the shop floor
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead and manage store teams
Requirements

To be considered for this Brisbane/Sunshine Coast-based position, you are required to hold a current Driver's Licence and have a reliable vehicle for travel to both local stores and regional Queensland stores.
